The team got word from Sgt Basile that in the Eastern docks was where they could find Information from the criminal Johnny Two fingers.
Turn 1
As the team slowly advanced through the fog in the neon rain, two Muramusas walker drones, pop up over the shipping containers and shoot at Petras and Nadiya. Pvt. Nadiya is slightly wounded, but not before taking one drone out. She is unable to catch her breath fast enough to move.The Vigilantes seize the initiative and Petras and Genesis (an "Escort" 2d6 shooter, who joined the team for this mission at Demi Sinclair’s behest) open fire on the 2nd drone pinning it.
Vector moves up the street to the local church of Hedon, and meets a Hedonist nun (plot point) while Scarlett runs up the alley headed to the storefront (plot point) mentioned in the holofeed.
The three robot soldiers march steadily along towards the smaller Antique vendor and two of the Chappys are able to draw a bead on Petras through the alley, but his response shot pinged off the shoulder of one, while dodging the fire of the other.
Turn 2
Petras tries to stand firm missing his opportunity to move and shoots the other Muramusa with his BAP.
Genesis steps in front of Petras and up against the corner of the building to both shield herself and cover Jason. her gamble payed off her bullets spattered off the wall but her mini pistol shot true hitting the Chappy in the reflux capacitor, dropping it
Scarlett barely missed a drunkard puking in the back alley as she made her way through the steamy alley to the shop. Hearing gunfire she felt there was no time to lose. She scrambled up the stairs and slammed the door out of the way frightening an already frightened shopkeeper.
Nadiya rushed to the building and up the rooftop access ladder where she could hopefully get a good vantage point
Vector met the nun, fully expecting something different than the cult of Hedons acolyte, that he found in this seedy building. She smiled at him asking if he wanted to see the list of services this house of worship could provide. He flushed glad that it wouldn’t show in the purple neon light once he realized what she meant. He tried to change the conversation and asked her about Johnny Two Fingers, the man they were trying to find (based on the information they pieced together from the shipping info, and the heiresses testimony and Judges knowledge). The Beautiful woman said maybe, but wouldn’t tell until he paid for services, or give offering at her altar....He froze trying to understand what was being asked. He realized he did not have much time so he pulled his shirt up showing off his taught six pack, hoping it would satisfy her request. She smiled and accepted his payment. She and the rest of the staff took a bit of time examining him, to his chagrin... satisfied and also disappointed, the nun told him where typically Johnny hung out in the apartment tenements to the north. As Vector headed towards the exit, he could hear the Hedonists giggling at his expense.
One chappy moved into the antique vendors shop and the other moved off to the tenements to the north. Their rigger moved up to shake down the ganger in the street but was rebuffed coldly. The re-flux capacitor of the 1st chappy sparked back to life and it stood back up.
Turn 3
Scarlett asks the shopkeeper if she has seen Johnny, and he seems hesitant to give up the information. she intimidates him using her best ganger stare and he sang like a bird. Also telling her about Johnnys apartment in the tenements to the north.
Vector runs out of the building to assist his team with the drone menace. Out in the street he sees a ganger he didn’t recognize but looking to the left he sees Huey Marcano, the cyber enhanced Bounty Hunter he had seen a few days back. Not thinking he needed to draw,he kept running across the street and towards the antique vendor stall
Nadiya moves up to shoot at the Chappy and knocks it back off it’s feet... as there is no more gunfire Jason and Genesis clear the area and Jason walks down the alley towards the down chappy knowing there are others about that he didn’t know the location of. Genesis didn’t move from her spot on guard for any aggressive movement.
The Chappy in the antique vendor almost hits its head in the cluttered shop. The Storekeeper (plot point) practically shit his pants, pulled out a sawed off shotgun, and shot the Chappy in the face, knocking it out.
Huey smiled and slowly advanced on Vector, drawing both Pistols. Right as Vector looked at him a flash pulse erupted out of his bionic eye, momentarily stunning Vectors vision. Vector tried to draw and exchange fire but Huey drew first blood. Hitting Vector and shooting him with a barrage of smart link bullets. This time Vector was lucky the shot that hit him was rejected by his armored synth-coat.
The final Chappy continued its advance toward the tenements.
Turn 4
Both Downed chappys get back up menacingly and anyone who sees them gasps at the horror of it.
The shopkeeper shoots it again with his shotgun. He was totally freaked out. Petras puts down the other one again but this time taking an incapacitating shot to the leg.
Nadiya pours fire from above toward Huey, and Vector retreats to a corner for a better firing position. Most of the bullets bounced off Huey's cyber ware.
Genesis keeps a watchful eye out wanting to run to Jason and check on him, but failed her nerve since she knew there were more of the robots out there. Sinclair definitely owed her more drinks for this.
Scarlett runs high speed to the tenements seeing one Chappy steadily advancing on the building.
Nearly pinned by the torrent of fire, Huey moves over to a by-standing Mercenary Ganger and offered her a stack of cred to add her guns to the fray. She thought better than to turn down Huey Marcano, and she didn’t like the fuzz anyway, so she agreed.
Jason Petras wounding was not in vain, as the Chappy he shot up did not return to the fray. Unfortunately for the scared shopkeep the one in his store wouldn’t stay down climbing up to its feet..
Turn 5
Scarlett initiates conversation with the old man (plot point) at the tenement, but it took him awhile to understand her. She was hurried as she heard the stalking stomps of the robot right on her heels. The Chappy showed remarkable cunning for a robot, and waited until the old man told Scarlett where Johnny Two Fingers was. After relaying the information to Huey, it stepped around the corner and shot the old man.
Nadiya got mad when she couldn’t get Petras or Genesis on the com bead and charged down into the antique shop. Smashing the Chappy to the ground with her baton.
Huey registered the coordinates of the shipping container Johnny Two fingers typically hangs around and made a beeline for it. The Merc Ganger girl was about to follow, but Huey ordered her to shoot up the vigilantes in the Shop. She then opened the door and exchanged fire with Nadiya but neither wounded the other.
The Antique shop exploded in fire as the Chappy got back up and started blasting at Nadiya, but Vector put it back down. The Ganger put in another few shots at Nadiya hitting her in the arm just as Nadiyas Pistol put a hole in the ex bystanders gut.
In her rage for seeing the poor old man get shot, Scarlett stabbed the Chappy with her Vibe Knife, right in its power core and shut it down. She rushed to the old man and cradled his head as the life washed from his eyes. Unfortunately for the team while they helped and interacted with many of the locals, gaining valuable other information, Johnny two fingers was nowhere to be found.
3-3 tie. Bounty hunter grabbed Johnny at last moment for the major plot point, the team gained 3 of the 4 other plot points and Scarlets killing of the last Chappy made the Bounty Hunters lose the plot point. If she didn’t the bounty hunter and his robots team would have won 4-3.
